daringly Dull productions, LLC. is a husband and wife team with over 30 years combined experience in production, special events, performance and story telling. Our focus is on finding interesting ways to tell interesting stories be it through film, documetnary, live events and more.
Joe Dull has been making films and teaching production for 20 years in California, New York, and now Arkansas. His award-winning feature length film “Table at Luigi’s” recently ended its run at theaters and film festivals around the country. His second feature is currently playing in festivals. “Sympathy Pains,” is a semi-autobiographical film about on a man who finds out his wife is pregnant and can’t stop his own morning sickness.
Joe is an associate professor and coordinator of undergraduate studies in the digital filmmaking program at UCA. His goal is to make filmmaking available to anyone with the desire and discipline. Check out Joe’s blog at joedullblog.wordpress.com.
A cum laude graduate from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and life filled with dance and theatre, Katiina has been able to carve out a career that combines her passion for the performing arts with her business skills. Katiina has spent 15 years working in the non-profit arts world as a performer, teacher and producer. Serving as the Business and Operations Manager and then as the Director of College Programs Katiina has produced national and international music outreach tours, live concert performances, a pilot variety TV special, and a documentary film, and developed an Associate of Arts in Performance for The Young Americans. A co-owner of Daringly dull Production, Katiina has also executive produced a number of film projects, including two feature length films “Symapthy Pains” and “Table at Luigi’s.”
